Liz Eckhardt Yennaco opened Advanced Health Massage & Yoga with her husband Joe to serve the local community with a studio that offers a fresh healing perspective to yoga, massage and bodywork therapy. Liz and Joe have been blessed with two children, Tommy and Joy who also absolutely love the fun of yoga and relaxation of massage. Even with 10 years of experience in the field of bodywork therapy and movement, Liz constantly strives to gain more knowledge through trainings to pass on to her clients. She specializes in Neuromuscular, Shiatsu acupressure and deep tissue massage and bodywork to relieve pain and tension and common ailments such as sciatica, structural imbalances, arthritis and sports injuries. Liz is passionate about helping people feel their best and has a background working with brain injured and orthopedic populations. Liz knew she absolutely needed to become a yoga instructor to marry a perfect combination of motion and stillness of two very spectacular and unique types of healing arts, massage and yoga. She has various specialty yoga teacher certifications including Prenatal, Ashtanga, Chakra, Restorative, and Seniors Yoga. She is continuing her training in Children’s Yoga. Liz graduated from UMass Boston with a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Dance. She also has guided meditation and clinical hypnotherapy certifications to help bring mindfulness and positive change into your life. Liz loves to find creative, alternative ways to help restore balance and peace in your life.

Amy Martin – Certified Yoga Instructor

AMY MARTIN
After receiving her B.A. in Psychology at Suffolk University, Amy wanted to pursue a career in healing. She saw that yoga is a powerful healing tool that brings a sense of inner strength and calm to those who practice it. So, in 2010, Amy earned her 200 hour Hatha Teacher Training Certification under Robin Anderson. Amy also is certified in yoga for seniors, yoga for children and chakra and restorative yoga. She is a Level II Reiki practitioner and continues her studies in yoga and wellness as a lifelong practice.

 

Kerry Wanamaker – Certified Yoga Instructor specializing in Hatha

KERRY WANAMAKER
As a Registered Nurse for 14 years and with 19 years in Health Care I have seen the effects of stress on patients, their caregivers and my fellow Nurses. I have had a passion all of my life in the areas of wellness, self-improvement and the mind-body-spirit connection. I have experience in areas of Oncology, Med-Surgical, Orthopedic, and Emergency Nursing. I currently work in the Community as a Visiting Nurse. I am currently deepening my passion for the role of Nutrition in health by training in a Holistic Health Nutrition program. My Yoga class is a gentle Hatha Yoga style for all levels.

 

 

Cornelia Dinca – Certified Yoga Instructor

Cornelia discovered the joy of practicing yoga in the summer of 2004 while living in Michigan. Later, Cornelia found out how much she loved teaching yoga and this led her down a path towards her certifications. She completed a number of Training Programs in Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Chakra Yoga, Restorative Yoga and many other workshops on different yoga styles. As a registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance, she is very thankful to have been able to study with wonderful teachers and aspire to become a reflection of the teachings of Shiva Rea, Sean Corn, Natasha Rizopoulos , David Swenson, Dominic Corigliano and Rolf Gates. At present she teaches beginner classes in the style of Hatha and all levels Vinyasa Yoga emphasizing the unity of body, mind and spirit created through pranayama, asana and meditation.

 

Matt Morin

MATT MORIN

With extensive continued education of yoga, Matt combines traditional Hatha yoga with a Vinyasa Meditation blend for the ultimate yoga practice. With a solid 200 hour RYT in Hatha yoga which includes Senior, Children’s, Prenatal, Chakra, and Restorative training he is able to bring everyone to a neutral level with a solid yoga foundation. Mixed with two 40 hour RYT trainings, one of which was taught by David Swenson, “whom is recognized today as one of the worlds foremost practitioners of Ashtanga Yoga”, best known as the modern-day form of classical Indian yoga which is mostly referred to as Power and/or Vinyasa yoga.  With an additional 200 hour RYT, with acclaimed yoga teacher and author Rolf Gates,” known for being one of the top 25 yoga studios around the world”, he brings that extra element of fitness and strength to his yoga class with the proper alignment and sequencing of yoga poses.

JoAnne Rose – Usui Reiki Master Teacher

JOANNE
JoAnne Rose has been teaching hatha “eclectic” yoga for over fifteen years. She holds both mind body and ashtanga yoga certifications. She has practiced and trained with multiple world re known teachers i.e., M. S. Viswanath, Patricia Walden, John Friend, Richard Freeman, Barry Karfnow, Annie Hoffman, Rodney Yee and Sir K. Pattabhi Jois. She is a Usui Reiki Master Teacher. JoAnne trained at The Heart of Reiki Center. She holds private and group trainings in 1st and 2nd degree Reiki. She professionally trained with Jon Kabat-Zinn at The University of Massachusetts Center of Mindfulness in Stress Reduction Practices. She teaches Stress Management Workshops.
